Positive Counselling HIV/ Hep. C Team (at the Williams Road Family Therapy Centre)Established in 1988 as the Anita Morowitz HIV Counselling Training Team, Positive Counselling HIV/ Hep C. Inc was renamed in January 2000, and provides a specialised FREE and CONFIDENTIAL counselling service for people who are infected and affected by HIV and Hep. C. The service is for people with HIV and/or Hep.C, their 'families', the people they live with and the people who support them. Core functions include direct counselling, consultation, training, supervision, debriefing and research on HIV and Hep.C. The team is funded by the Department of Human Services, donations and fund raising functions such as Oz Showbiz Cares Equity Fights AIDS. The HIV/HEP C team is located at the Williams Road Family Therapy Centre.
